Design and Original Service

Every project starts with an idea. Our design and original service helps you visualize concepts and ideas for both indoor and outdoor applications. The first action is to identify possible placements, take measurements and setting design parameters. We will always guide you to find the most suitable and functional materials to deliver a safe, secure and visually attractive solution.

Survey and inspection of drawings

Making sure your drawings fulfill all applicable rules and standards is a key part of your property signage project. As part of your project, we perform a thorough facility and drawings survey, documenting all necessary actions needed to verify that your drawings are in compliance with local legislation. You will receive a complete report including choice of materials, design and what information to include in your signage system. All information is handled with the strictest confidentiality and we always transfer ownership rights to our client.

Project
Management

At Lexidor, we have over 100 years of experience of planning effective, sustainable signage systems for buildings. We know how important planning is to keep a project on time and within budget frames. Our project managers start by identifying the different stakeholders in the project and the overall aims of the project. If certain regulations govern have implications for the project, these are weighed in as well. As part of the project you will always receive a digital plan describing costs, deadlines, deliverables, responsibilities and a deadline for completion of the project.

Professional mounting

The devil, as the saying goes, is in the details. The mounting is a small yet important detail. It needs to be exact, both from an aesthetic and compliance standpoint. We never compromise in making sure your signs are mounted exactly according to both local regulations and design requirements. Our staff has the correct equipment and training to ensure every part of the sign system is mounted in a professional way.

Survey and inspection of signage

To prepare an inspection an overview plan or an escape plan is needed. When performing a survey of a building we divide the property into office areas, production areas and exterior areas. To map up what signs are needed, and the location of every sign, we use our unique manual. The manual refers to the applicable regulations for all systems and describes the philosophy for every system. It also provides solutions when combinations of different systems are available to further strengthen the purpose of the signage system. Upon completion, our client is provided with an overview report to enable decision making.

Technical signs

Contrast- and Braille signage

Making sure your building is accessible and user friendly for persons with reduced mobility or orientation ability is of great importance. By marking obstacles, you can effectively reduce the risk of injury in and around your production areas.

Our tactile signs are of certified material, which gives them a finish that guarantees the right contrast.

Engraving

Engraved signs add a solid, timeless element to a building or office. We use laser or mechanically engraving. Using our CO2-laser, we engrave signs up to an area of 1220x610mm.

Different materials are more or less suitable for different environments. We will guide you to find a solution that fits your budget and design requirements – always with the highest durability available.

We have a long history of planning, producing, mounting and verifying a large number of successful complete evacuation systems for buildings. Our complete evacuation systems are in accordance to the international standard, beginning at individual rooms via the description on the escape plan to the last exit door.

Product qualities

All our products offer high level afterglow qualities and contrast. For every LLL-solution we deliver, our clients with also receive a full stack of documentation. The documentation includes a clear description of the complete system, product sheets and references to applicable rules, regulations, laws and standards.

Our 25mm system integrates seamlessly with your building’s interior design, is extremely durable, easy to mount and cost efficient. Both products and production is MED B and Med D certified by Lloyd’s Register.

It can easily be shared among different stakeholders, such as designers, engineers and administrative staff, in a group or project team. We can provide CAD drawings in both digital and physical format. We provide them in a format that is secure and suitable for archiving purposes according to your classification system.
