Lexidor has been a long-time partner of Stena Roro. We provided in this project décor, signage and public signage solutions as part of the interior design on board.

Interior design that combines functionality and well-being

Johan Kippel, Manager Projects & Conversations, runs projects and is responsible for ship conversions for several shipyards around the world. The project for Stena Nordica included a complete renovation of the interior and about 450 m2 of new public areas on Deck 6. The modification took place in Remontova.

We commissioned Lexidor to develop a signage solution and signage that incorporates just that, and at the same time meets regulatory requirements.

Carrying out a large-scale project like this requires both knowledge and capacity for signage in a marine environment, as well as an eye for detail.

-We saw Lexidor as an obvious choice as they have previous experience of the ship. We know that we get very good support. They are flexible and responsive to our needs, which was crucial for the project as the installation of the signs had to be done in batches because there was a lot of other work going on at the same time, says Johan.
